Fabian Sorger, born 1996 in Bavaria, is into photography since he can remember.

He bought his first camera even before he went to school. It became his daily companion.
During his schooltime he realized photography is going to be his future. That was the moment when he decided to become a trained photographer – which he achieved in 2019.

Since then, the young photographer is on the move in Vienna, since 2020 finally with a Leica he dreamed of for such a long time. Documenting his everyday life. Whenever he finds time, he realizes own projects. He is always looking for new motives in cities and nature.

“The reason I fell in love with photography, is my fascination for the little moments in life, which I can capture in a part of a second, and can be so incredibly valuable.” Fabian says. “This passion, the eye and the love for these special moments is, what I’ll try to spread among the participants. Helping them to find their own way, their own visual language, is what I’m aiming for, within my position as the Manager of the Leica Akademie Austria.”

Fabian is part of the Leica Family as Leica Akademie Manager since Summer 2023.
